THE LAB
Located in the Science Building on the University of New Orleans' (UNO's) campus and is a part of the Advance Materials Research Institute (AMRI), which was initially grant-funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Our spaces are equipped with multiple rooms for research and development of our application integration. There are several microscopes and other lab equipment we have access to within AMRI. Ventilation is a big deal when working with nanoparticles. Our production area is also equipped with a negative pressure room for the safe handling of materials along with the use of a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR). The safety of our employees is our number one concern, along with ensuring environmental protection and compliance.
